Milliman’s CMH Health Practice develops healthcare technology, products, and client solutions. The AI Product Engineer Intern will build software and Generative AI applications, own product features from development through delivery, and contribute to testing, documentation, code quality, and product strategy.

Responsibilities

• Develop software and GenAI agents that automate internal processes and delight clients
• You will act as an owner for various feature and product requests. You own it from start to finish
• Perform your own rigorous Self-QA. You are your own harshest critic before you hand off work
• Domain Empathy: You will not just stay in a code silo; you will work to understand the healthcare business context behind your code
• Participate in code reviews and implement feedback to improve code quality
• Design and maintain documentation for features and user workflows
• Assist with product testing, performance tuning, and bug resolution
• Contribute to team discussions about product direction and technical design
• Engage in the strategic promotion of new products, directly contributing to market success

Qualifications

• Current college undergraduate or graduate student
• Will consider other majors (Philosophy, Art, Psychology, Biology) for students who have a demonstrated interest and aptitude for software development
