Test Software Developer Intern at MACOM

MACOM is a global leader in the design and manufacture of advanced semiconductor products for data centers, telecommunications, industrial, and aerospace and defense markets. The Test Software Developer Intern will support the Morgan Hill test engineering team by developing software, participating in test engineering activities, and implementing software on the production floor.

Responsibilities

• Be part of the test engineering activities
• Develop software and implement it on the production floor in Operations department
• Be given an individual and well-defined project with set outcome goals
• Gain hands on experience
• Receive excellent training and ongoing supervision
• Be invited to attend an intern webinar series
• Attend networking/social events
• Attend and present at Poster Session about each Interns project successes and pitfalls
• Receive formal, written feedback

Qualifications

• Candidate must be presently pursuing a BS or MS in electrical engineering, computer science or similar
• Good planning and organizational skills
• Good interpersonal and communications skills
• Good problem-solving and analytical skills
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Experience using MS Office

Preferred Qualifications

• C, C++, Python, SQL, and/or relevant tools
