Intel is a technology company developing semiconductor, hardware, software, and AI-powered technologies. The Software Engineering Intern will design, develop, test, debug, and improve software for Intel products and platforms while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams and contributing to automation, validation, and secure software tools.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, debug, and improve software that enables Intel products and platforms
  • Support code review, high-level design, scripting, automation, and validation activities
  • Contribute to open, secure software platforms and tools
  • Apply programming, data, and systems thinking to solve real engineering challenges
  • Collaborate with hardware, systems, product, and software teams

Qualifications

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field
  • 3+ months of experience gained through coursework, academic projects, research, internships, co-ops, student organizations, assistantships, or other relevant technical experiences
  • This position is not eligible for employment-based visa/immigration sponsorship
  • You must be available to start work during this time frame
  • This role will require an on-site presence

Preferred Qualifications

  • GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred
  • Experience or interest in design, architecture, programming, scripting, data analysis, automation, modeling, simulation, validation, or debugging
  • Hands-on coursework, research, projects, or internship experience related to the role family
  • Strong problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and ability to work in team-based environments

Skills
